Logo Refresh

CMS Gardens is a new cultivation facility operating in the state of Rhode Island. As their company scaled, it was clear that the branding needed to do the same. With time and resources primarily focused on product and logistics during the early days, branding and packaging became an afterthought.

CMS Gardens needed a refreshed logo that felt like a challenge to everyone invoved. The logo needed to communicate craft and prestige. However, much of the more “elevated” “luxury” branding feels unrelatable to CMS Gardens’, both as a company as well as their audience. The pioneers of CMS Gardens are individuals who are unrefined and rough around the edges but can still make a premium product.

The result is a logo that is both rough and polished. The roses from the original logos were maintained but altered to fit the shape of the logo.
